PrivacyHow we handle your information.
Short version: we collect what you send us through the enquiry form, we use it to answer you, we do not sell it, and we do not track you around the internet.
Who we are
Point Eleven provides 3D digital twin scanning and drone roof inspections. For the purposes of UK data protection law we are the data controller for the information described here.
You can reach us about anything on this page at [contact email], or by post at [registered office address].
What we collect, and why
If you fill in the enquiry form we collect your name, your company, your email address, and your phone number if you choose to give it. We also collect what you tell us about the building — its location, size, and what you need.
We use that solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and carry out any work you go on to instruct. We do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask, and we do not sell or share your details for anyone else's marketing.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you have contacted us about a service and expect a reply. Where you go on to instruct us, we process what is necessary to perform that contract.
Who else sees it
Enquiries are delivered through a form service, which processes the message on our behalf and passes it to our inbox. Our website is hosted by Netlify. Where twins are hosted on Matterport's platform, information you put into a tour is processed by them.
Some of these providers operate outside the UK, so your information may be transferred internationally under the safeguards those providers have in place. We do not otherwise transfer your information abroad.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for [retention period — commonly 2 years for enquiries that go nowhere] so we can pick up a conversation you left off. Where we carry out work for you, we keep project records and the resulting scans for [retention period — commonly 6 years, matching the limitation period for contract claims], after which they are deleted unless you ask us to retain them.
Cookies and anything stored on your device
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Nothing here follows you to other websites.
One small item is stored by your browser for the length of your visit: a note that you have already seen the opening animation, so it is not shown again. It contains no personal information and is discarded when you close the tab.
Where a page embeds an interactive 3D tour, that tour is provided by Matterport and will not load until you choose to open it. Once you do, Matterport may set its own cookies, governed by their privacy policy rather than ours.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us using it. Write to [contact email] and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or by calling 0303 123 1113. We would rather you raised it with us first so we can put it right.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle information we will update this page. It was last updated on [date].
